How We Turned a Regulatory Threat Into a 14-Month Earned Media Campaign

When EPA proposed new water-use restrictions that would have idled 340,000 acres across three states, GPGC had 90 days to shift the narrative. We placed 38 stories across Farm Journal, DTN Progressive Farmer, and the Des Moines Register — and secured testimony coverage on Brownfield Ag News that reached 620,000 rural listeners.

Meridian Harvest Systems

Launching an Autonomous Harvester Into a Market That Didn't Know It Needed One

Meridian's AX-7 was technically superior but commercially invisible. Our 6-month pre-launch campaign seeded demo coverage in Successful Farming and AgWeb, landed a Reuters feature on autonomous ag, and placed the CEO on three RFD-TV segments before the FIRA USA debut.

Repositioning a Heritage Grain for the Urban Plate

Sorghum had a rural identity problem. NSP needed urban food editors and restaurant buyers to see it as a premium, sustainable grain — not a livestock feed. We placed 22 editorial features in Food & Wine, Bon Appétit digital, and Eater, while simultaneously running a trade campaign in Feedstuffs and Milling & Baking News.

22 consumer placements · 14 trade placements · 31% YoY increase in food-grade sorghum inquiries
Act III — The Voice
Sow didn't just get us coverage — they understood what was at stake for our members. When the rule comment period opened, we had editorial momentum that no other cooperative in our region had. Legislators read what farmers read. Sow made sure farmers were reading our story.

Sectors We Serve

Deep roots in every
corner of agriculture.

We don’t generalize. Our team has covered agricultural beats, worked inside cooperatives, and testified before agricultural committees. That depth shows in every pitch we write.

Row Crops & Grain

Corn, soy, wheat, and specialty grains. We speak the language of the elevator, the co-op, and the commodity desk.

  • Cooperative policy defense
  • Harvest season media ops
  • USDA report positioning

AgTech

From autonomous equipment to precision inputs. We translate engineering into editorial.

  • Product launch campaigns
  • Investor narrative support
  • Trade show media ops

Policy & Trade Associations

Regulatory comment periods, legislative sessions, and trade negotiations require a different kind of communications discipline.

  • Regulatory narrative strategy
  • Congressional testimony support
  • Coalition media coordination

Livestock & Animal Ag

Beef, pork, poultry, and dairy face scrutiny from every direction. We build credibility before the crisis hits.

  • Proactive reputation building
  • Animal welfare narrative
  • Supply chain storytelling

Food & Beverage

Bridging the farm-to-fork story for ingredient brands, heritage grains, and supply chain transparency campaigns.

  • Consumer editorial placement
  • Chef & retailer outreach
  • Origin story campaigns
